Why Choose Sound Healing?
There are a number of incredible short and long-term benefits to sound healing.
Sound therapy is a proven mood booster, sleep aide and a nervous system regulator. Sound healing is fast becoming one of the most popular alternative therapies available with scientifically demonstrated benefits.
"Sound healing has been used for centuries and been utilized in various forms by cultures the world over, including native peoples. Australian aboriginal tribes have used the didgeridoo as a sound healing instrument for over 40 000 years." - Journal of Evidence-Based Integrative Medicine
"Participants aged 40 to 59 years appeared to especially benefit from the sound meditation. This age group demonstrated the largest reduction in physical pain and a strong reduction in tension, especially for those who were previously naïve to this type of meditation." - The Effects of Singing Bowl Sound Meditation on Mood, Tension, and Well-being,Tamara L. Goldsby PhD, et al.

What Is Sound Healing?
Sound healing has multiple uses and benefits, both short and long-term.
At the core, the purpose of sound therapy is to assist you in reaching a state of deep mental and physical relaxation which enable you to experience the following benefits:
1. Access meditative states easily
2. Calm and soothe your nerves
3. Evoke your body's natural healing abilities
4. Increase your mental and emotional well-being
5. Assist dysfunctional sleeping patterns
6. Relieve symptoms of chronic illness such as fatigue, inflammation and pain
7. Clear, cleanse and strengthen your life force energy
8. Deepen your connection to your Higher Power
9. Some people may also experience emotional release

How Does It Work?
Sound therapy's effectiveness is attributed to the vibrational quality of the instruments being played.
These vibrations are shown to directly impact the state of our mind and body, evoking healing naturally and with relative ease. Different sound healing instruments can be used for different effects depending on the note they are tuned to.
Being able to physically experience these healing vibrations is why in-person or 'live' sound therapy sessions are thought to be so much more powerful than simply listening to calming meditation music.
These vibrational sound healing frequencies evoke the body's natural healing abilities by calming and regulating our nervous systems. This is particularly effective for people who have highly strung nerves due to stress, trauma or other environmental and physiological factors.

One-On-One Or As A Group?
There are many ways to appreciate the art of sound healing.
Sound healing can be done in a group environment, however for the most potent experience we recommend experiencing sound healing in a one-on-one setting at least once in your life.
The first and most important benefit is that the sound being played is tailored to your individual needs.
When working with Jaqueline you will go on a personalised, guided meditation journey based on your intentions for healing, with accompanying supportive sounds specific to your intentions.
Different sounds and instruments have different uses, when your practitioner is focussing specifically on you, the sound will be uniquely suited to your situation. This is where sound healing can take you through deep and profound transformations in a safe, private and completely supported environment.
The benefits of sound healing are transmitted through vibrational frequencies, the closer you are to the instruments being played -- the more powerful your experience becomes. This can be an incredible experience and while you may receive something like this during a group sound healing, there is nothing quite like receiving a full 90minute sound therapy session up close and personal.
Deeply transformational and incredibly personal, go on your own unique sound healing journey.
